My Movie Review: Max Steel (2016)

I was able to watch some of Max Steel cartoons and I was excited to watch this in movie version.

Sadly, I have some issues with the movie:

1.)  I felt that the movie was just like a one episode of a TV series.

2.) Another issue is how Max was able to hide his secret as the super hero to his girl-friend. 

3.) I am also not sure why "Miles", his father's closest friend, is his enemy in the movie. I remember in the cartoon there is someone like Miles but this character is understanding to Max's situation especially about his secret as the Max Steel.

There has been so many movies about a single man taking out lots of bad guys and make everything right and serve the justice to them. Jack Reacher returns from being "out of grid". He used to be a great soldier with lots of medals earned when he was still in service.
In this movie, he comes back to work with a female captain he is interested into. He later learned that his friend has been arrested.

Finding Dory is the continuation of Finding Nemo movie. Dory suddenly realizes that she is missing her parents and she is very eager to look for her parents. Dory's forgetfulness makes the movie cute and entertaining.

My Movie Review: Independence Day: Resurgence

I am amazed with what we can do more to improve visual effects with the current technology we have. But I feel there is something lacking in the story that made me give it a lower score. For me, it is cool to see some of the characters from the first movie to be in this movie. Will Smith is not there, but his portrait can be seen as displayed somewhere in the White House. More characters from the first movie will perish because, I think, they cannot handle the stress and peace of mind because of the loved ones that died in the first movie. I also feel that there will be third movie. I will be waiting for it.

My Movie Review: The Conjuring 2

The Conjuring 2 is a story about the Warrens couple that once made an investigation of the Amityville House. Based on the story, there is the ghost that haunts the house and threatens to cause Ed Warren's death. Lorraine Warren decides to stop doing investigations upon meeting this ghost in her visions.
A separate incident is reported to show signs of paranormal activity inside the house of the Hodgsons family. Peggy's daughter experiences sleepwalking, speaking to someone in her family while asleep.

This movie is that kind of movie that you want to see if you are in for sudden surprises and shock. When you are there watching this movie, just convince yourself that it is only a movie. You shouldn't be scared.
